Lost in Austen is absolutely, obviously not a serious or faithful adaptation of Austen’s book. It is a fun exploration of what the book characters might be like as real people, and of what would happen if a modern-day reader fell into her favorite classic novel. This “romantic comedy of errors with a pinch of fantasy” is silly but entertaining.
