Book Review: Iron Flame
Book two of The Empyrean series had promise, but feels rushed to production and in need of edits.

Book two of The Empyrean series had promise, but feels rushed to production and in need of edits.
Immersive worldbuilding, relatable and diverse characters, and a powerful ending. Enter the world of The Empyrean series with Fourth Wing.
This book is entirely vampire smut, with about three pages of plot to tie up the end.
Book four of the Filthy Rich Vampires series was…not what I hoped or expected.
After reading Three Queens, I had a lot of questions, but one stood out as most important: how soon could I get my hands on book four?
If you read book one and you’re on the fence about book two, what are you waiting for?
If I had to sum up this book in one sentence, it would be “Ancient powerful vampire with untold resources turns into a puddle for his little mortal.” There’s more to it than that, but I stand by it.
From Goodreads: “Sallot Leon is a thief, and a good one at that. But gender fluid Sal wants nothing more than to escape the drudgery of life as a highway robber and get closer to the upper-class—and the nobles who destroyed their home.”
My introduction to the fae reverse harem genre was not perfect, but entertaining.
This story is a sweet, adorable Christmas story, with well-established characters and some room for technical improvements.
