10 songs I’m living for right now
There are a lot of days when I don’t want to get out of bed. Or when I need to do some housekeeping, but the quiet apartment is clashing with my busy bipolar brain. Or when I’m getting in the shower and feel the need for a sing-along soundtrack.
My answer to all of these scenarios is the same: some sweet tunes! And I wanted to share a few of my faves with you today.
This is my main 2019 playlist, in no particular order:
- Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts”: It’s on Billboard’s Hot 100 for a reason.
- Blanco Brown’s “The Git Up”: Basically the new country Cupid Shuffle, and I love it.
- Taylor Swift’s Lover album: Once a Swiftie, always a Swiftie.
- Sabrina Carpenter’s “Take You Back”: It’s just a fun breakup bop. I may be happy in love, but your girl still imaginary-spites her exes sometimes.
- Ed Sheeran and Justin Beiber’s “I Don’t Care”: Makes me think of bae.
- AronChupa and Little Sis Nora’s “Little Swing”: A less-known song my boyfriend’s got me playing on repeat in the car.
- Halsey’s “Graveyard”: All of Halsey’s latest work is amazing. I’m especially fond of this one.
- Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Senorita”: This plays all. the. time. at work, and I don’t even mind.
- Sabrina Carpenter’s “Looking At Me”: I can’t not dance to this one.
- Todrick Hall’s Haus Party: I’m seeing him live in November and EEEEEK can’t wait!
Okay, so technically I’ve got more than 10 songs in that list, but I just really love music! I can’t get enough of these albums and tracks this year.
